Based on a mountain in Greenland.
Lucy has been sent to get firewood by her dad as a snowstorm is set to hit the town. She wraps up warm and leaves the house. She ventures a bit too far up the mountain where she hits the snowstorm.
The Yeti is gallivanting around in the snow, used to it. It is the only time when he can go out without humans trying to hunt him. He plays hide and seek with the Birds/Reindeer. But Lucy is lost and scared. She sits down on a lump of snow in despair. It rumbles, shakes and turns out to be the Yetis head. As he stands up, she is lifted onto his shoulders and he takes her swiftly out of the storm.
They sit down on a log by a massive lake at the top of the mountain. She tells him she doesn't think he is real because her dad told her not to believe such nonsense from crazy folks in the village.. He whistles out to the lake and Nessie appears, who waves her tentacles and then sinks back under.
The Yeti carries on to show the girl lots of other ‘mythical creatures’ that are hidden in the snow ridden forest. They then end up by a road with a sign pointing to the town, where they hug and say goodbye.
Lucy is in bed. Her room is covered in drawings of her day. She is talking with her dad, telling her all about her adventure. He tells her '...what an imagination you have, Lucy'.
The Yeti is seen to be pulling his stuffing out and throwing it off the top of the mountain as snow, which settles on the rooftops of the fishing village.
